Organic Forms Mixed-Metal Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace #2

This sculptural pendant necklace combines the organic texture of acid-etched sterling silver with a domed, intricately etched steel disc. Three polished, ball-ended sterling silver rivets secure the layered elements, adding dimensional detail and allowing subtle movement between the components. The interplay of light and dark finishes, contrasting textures, and sculptural forms creates a striking contemporary statement.

This 2nd version is suspended from a 20-inch sterling silver snake chain.  This is a one-of-a-kind necklace similar to the first version but every etching is unique and different!  Handmade by Diana Hirschhorn in her Frederick, Maryland studio. The pendant measures 1½ inches wide by 1¼ inches high.
