Copper and coconut shell play well together in these lightweight earrings with their rich texture and patina!

Modern copper and coconut shell statement earrings are bold but yet incredibly lightweight. Handmade, they have a boho, organic vibe to them.  Ear wires in niobium have a copper ball detail and are hypo-allergenic.  Their coloration complements these earrings perfectly! 

I made these by starting with a piece of bare copper sheet metal. Cut into circles, that metal was given a ribbed texture and then a gorgeous rich patina in a bluish/green color representing a natural aged, copper patina. Doming gives them an additional layer of dimension and helps them frame in your face beautifully. From these hang lovely open teardrop shape drops cut out of coconut shells.

Golden and coppery, with hints of chocolate brown, these contemporary copper earrings will transition from autumns golden hues right on into summer's warm and sultry bronzes for year round appeal! 

These earrings are as contemporary as they are rugged due to their gorgeous texture and patina. They certainly are fun, lightweight, easy to wear and sure to bring lots of complements!

These earrings are entirely made by hand by me in my studio. The earrings measure 2 7/8" from top to bottom and 1" in width.

These earrings have both great texture and movement, two design features I feel strongly about incorporating into my work.
