Aurora Ember – Asymmetrical Red Onyx & Amethyst Earrings

These handmade, asymmetrical art earrings combine vivid red onyx and rich purple amethyst in an expressive arrangement of faceted diamond and tear drop shaped gemstones set in sterling silver bezels. Vintage Swarovski crystals shimmer with shifting flashes of raspberry, violet, amber, gold, and blue, adding brilliant color and depth to the design. Each square crystal is set in a hand-engraved stainless steel bezel, while textured sterling silver leverback ear wires provide a distinctive finishing detail. The contrasting gemstone shapes and alternating colors create a lively sense of rhythm and movement.

Created using vintage Swarovski crystals from the artist’s personal collection, these contemporary earrings are individually designed and fabricated by Diana Hirschhorn of DianaHDesigns in Frederick, Maryland. They measure approximately 2 5/8 inches in length and 1/2 inch in width.
