Asymmetrical earrings 24K gold on sterling silver in an industrial/architectural design!
Oxidized sterling silver and 24k gold come together in this beautiful design! Using the ancient Korean technique of keum-bo, I have fused 24k gold to the surface of sterling silver and then oxidized it for contrast. The contrast of the rich 24k gold color against the softly oxidized and textured sterling silver is lovely. A variety of textures and geometric shapes play well together in this balances but yet asymmetrical design. The end result is gorgeous with 24k gold accents playing against a beautiful, softly oxidized and textured background.
The contemporary design of this pair compliments this ancient technique beautifully for a one-of-a-kind design that you can be assured will be uniquely yours! These earrings measure 3 3/8" in length from top to bottom and are 1" wide across the widest area. They dangle gracefully and have great movement. The dangle component measures 2 7/8" in length.
Gold-filled ear wires have a decorative sterling silver ball detail. If you would prefer a sterling silver lever-back ear wire, please choose that option and I will switch it out for you. These earrings have great texture and movement, two design features I feel strongly about incorporating into my work!
